Privacy

Gallivant has no accounts and never asks who you are. It does show ads from Google, and Google uses cookies to choose and measure them. Here is what that means and how to opt out.
What stays on your device
Events you save, your last filters, and the calendar app you picked are stored only in your browser on your device. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes them.
Ads
Gallivant uses Google AdSense to show a few ads. They help cover hosting, map data, and the services that gather and check listings every week. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure how those ads do. I don't see who you are or what Google learns.
You can turn off personalized ads in Google's My Ad Center, and opt out of other ad companies' cookies at aboutads.info. Google explains how it uses information from sites like this one on its partner sites page.
If you live in a US state with its own privacy law (such as California), Google shows a message on Gallivant that lets you opt out of having your information sold or shared for ads.
When you send a suggestion
What you type in the Suggest form, and your email if you add it, comes to me by email (sent through Resend, an email service). I use it only to look into your suggestion and reply. I never add anyone to a mailing list.
Hosting and maps
Cloudflare hosts Gallivant and serves the map. Like any web host, they keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses and browser type) to run and protect their services. I don't use those logs to follow anyone around.
Other sites
Every listing links to its source, like a venue, an organizer, or a ticket page. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Gallivant doesn't respond to browsers' “Do Not Track” signals, so please use the ad settings above to opt out.
Changes and questions
If any of this changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top. Questions are welcome through the Suggest form (pick “Something else”).
